1. Information the Site stores itself

The Site has no user registration and no contact form. You are never asked to enter your name or email address.

The Site stores the following two pieces of information in your browser.

• Theme setting (localStorage): saves your choice when you switch between light and dark mode.
• Display language (cookie "NEXT_LOCALE"): remembers which language to show.

The theme setting is used only inside your browser. The language cookie is sent to the server to decide which language to show, but it contains nothing other than the language value.

2. Analytics

The Site uses the following analytics tool to understand which pages are viewed and how often. The information collected is used only to improve the Site, never to identify individuals.

The Site uses Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as "_ga") to identify your browser.

Google signals is enabled on the Site. For visitors who are signed in to a Google account and have allowed ad personalization, Google aggregates usage across multiple devices. The Site receives only aggregated figures, never individual account information.

If you want to stop collection by Google Analytics, you can:

• Use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
• Disable cookies in your browser settings

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

3. Information sent to third parties (disclosure under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act)

When you open the Site, your browser sends information to the following companies.

(1) Google Analytics 4

• Recipient: Google LLC
• Information sent: URL and title of the page viewed, referrer URL, date and time of the visit, IP address, browser and OS type, screen size, language setting, identifiers stored in cookies, and actions on the Site (scrolling, link clicks, etc.). Because Google signals is enabled, for visitors signed in to a Google account, Google also handles information linked to that account.

(2) Google Search "Preferred Sources" button

• Recipient: Google LLC
• Information sent: IP address, browser type, URL of the page being viewed, and cookies stored by Google's sites
• Purpose: To display a button for adding the Site to your Preferred Sources in Google Search

4. Hosting

The Site is served from the servers of Cloudflare, Inc. (Cloudflare Workers). When you open a page, the nature of the connection means that your IP address, browser type, the URL viewed and similar information are logged on Cloudflare's servers. These logs are handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

5. Weather data

Forecasts use data from Open-Meteo (https://open-meteo.com/). The data is fetched from Open-Meteo by the Site's server. Your browser never sends information to Open-Meteo. Only circuit locations and dates are sent.

6. Disclosure to third parties

Except where required by law, the operator does not provide visitor information to third parties. The providers of the tools listed in sections 2 and 3 handle information under their own policies.

7. Changes to this policy

This policy may change without notice. When it changes, this page will say so along with the revision date.
